Weird Wormy Adventure

Days ago, before the chilly air rolled in, we went for a walk and discovered a wierd wormy creature. We captured it on a leaf and carried it all the way home and up the driveway.

It was here that Lucas dropped it. He sat and tried to get it back on the leaf, while Meredith watched.

He tried and tried to get the wormy thing to crawl on the leaf.....

And finally, it managed to find its way on again.

Don't ask me what this is....is was weird and creepy looking. The thing had pretend eyes on its head.

Lucas carefully released it in our flower bed, saying it could go find its mommy now.
