Lights Out!

Since no one responded to crafting, I will refrain from posting photos in that area.  I don't think you realize how many photos I take a day sometimes, and I certainly wouldn't want to bore you with unneccessary photos....

In other news, we had a family outing on Sunday.  Rich and I were a little tired of being with two toddlers in our quiet and lukewarm house and decided to take a drive....

I was super worried about the new potty person in our home being out in public.  But he was awesome!

He made sure to test out EVERY bathroom in every store we went in - without ever emptying his bladder.  He was quite hilarious.

We stopped by Michaels to see if they had any candles - since rumors of no power for the rest of the week circulated into our home - and we hadn't found any at Tarjay...

Richard was taking Lucas to check out how clean their bathroom was, when the power went out!

If you have never been in a store when the power goes out, you are really missing out!

The clerks are like vultures thinking you are going to steal something.

My cart was full of our coats and my purse - and the lady asked if she could push it up front while I waited for my boys.

No m'am, I will gladly keep my cart right here.

I totally understand her intent.  I did work retail and know how easily things happen.

They kicked us out of the store and I was very sad that I could not get my candles.  So we returned to our cold house that was a little bit darker than it could have been.

Devon, I cannot believe how much snow you've been hit with lately. We just got a couple inches last night. If more is headed your way like I heard, I hope you all don't lose power this time. Stay warm!

Why did they kick you out of the store, especially if you were planning on buying candles? How many photos do you take, on average, every day? Are you printing them, or keeping them on your computer? How do you decide what makes it into your scrapbooks? Even though I didn't comment, I appreciated hearing about the crafts you do with your little ones. Makes me think, hmmm, I wonder if Seb would like to make crafts, too. You're creative :) And it's neat all the arts and craft supplies you provide for them :)
