Happy Belated New Year!

I haven't had a chance to say Happy New Year! We stepped into the new year, cleaning up, organizing closets (I will post on that later), changing spark plugs (a story worth sharing, as well), and building a snow family!

The kids insisted on going outside with Richard, no matter how I tried to convince them it was too cold.

First, I heard "Daddy isn't wearing a jacket! I don't need one!"
Then, the running in and out because they were cold and wanted mittens.

Then, I couldn't find the mittens. Anyways, there is never a dull moment.

After the spark plugs were changed, Daddy set to work making a new snow family with the remaining snow....I scrounged up carrots, ear muffs and a scarf for the snowman.....not knowing he was making a family.

Trying to find a spot for the carrot!

Meredith realizing that they both had noses now!

"Snowman!"

And if you were wondering what is left of our snow....
it is quite minuscule.

Hanging out in the snow...

Shhhh! We were feeding the deer again....

And with one fail swoop, the snowman began to topple over!
Ahhhhh!

Oh no!

Daddy saves the day!

Then another snowman fell!
OH no!

And don't forget those trusty snowblowers -- err, lawnmowers

The (sad-looking) snow family!

Disclaimer: I had no part in the rolling and building of these ridiculous looking things!
