And not only have I been lost, but I have been lost IN "Lost".
I know this doesn't make sense, because it doesn't make sense to me either.
But honestly, instead of blogging, I have been devoting myself to the television series from ABC.
When Richard was leaving Iraq, he asked me if there was anything I wanted him to bring home.
Many women may ask for scarves.
Many women may ask for area rugs.
Many women may ask for paintings.
Me. I asked him to bring me the boxed set of all the seasons of "Lost".
So $15 dollars and a few weeks later (I asked him not to mail it, but to bring it on his person), I am the proud owner of all 5 seasons.
I held out and we didn't begin watching until his return.
I absolutely never understood the hype around this show. Even still, I didn't take the time to find out....until now. I figured that for not very much money, I could get my feet wet and see what I was missing.
Once the kids are in bed and the kitchen is cleaned up, we sit and talk and discuss and watch.
"Lost" is definately one of the most intricately written shows I have ever experienced - and I believe it is quite amazing.
Richard and I are quite invested. Perhaps at a later time, I can write more.
But for now, Season 5 - Episode 8 is calling!

You're silly :) Enjoy watching ALL of Lost (we've never seen any of it, so I'm you, pre-season one, still not understanding what the hype is about), and it'll be delightful to read your posts once you return from Lost. Thanks for sharing and posting your delightful December festivities!!! And, I LOVE little Mere's pony tail. Seeing that made me sad I only have boys (but don't get me wrong, I LOVE my little boys... but still, I can't really put their hair in pony tails!).

Welcome to the club! I joined in during the beginning of season 3, catching up on old episodes on abc.com. Like you, I didn't think it would be all that great, but once I got into it, I couldn't stop watching! Jess will watch it with me everyone in awhile, but she ends up being the one lost. :-P It's one of those shows you really need to watch from the beginning to fully understand...which means I don't have much time to refresh on old episodes before the final season begins!
