Does your child understand human anatomy?
We have discussed this regularly with our children.
The gory details of blood...heart pumping and the like.
The skin, the muscles, and the bones.
Anatomy is important for common knowledge. Not to mention, I made an A in it in college!
You have to teach what you know after all...
And it looks like Lucas may be able to make an A in Anatomy too (even though he has no desire to go to college right now).
He came to me a few days ago to show me that he drew the lungs on his Magna-Doodle.
Amazing!
I am continually blown away by his mad drawing skillz.
So do I have a future artist or a doctor on my hands?

No college for Lucas? I'm sure he'll change his mind! I love his concept of college! He once told me, "you get to take your toys to college and your pillow and your blanket!" Smart kid!
