This Saturday was filled with fun, sun-up to sun-down.
We build a kaleidoscope at Lowe's.
Then spent another hour or so collecting wood and a few other supplies for a project we will be working on!
Sorry, I don't want to share what it is right now to help keep you interested :)
Lucas was super dooper excited about everything, and loved the scrap wood that he got to take home.
After a lunch break, we headed up to a car event, that brought all dealerships to one parking lot.
The event was a big hassle for car salesmen, (as said by carsalesmen to us)
but wonderful for us!
We were able to look at ALL the vehicles we have flirted with getting, across many brands.
Meredith found what she wanted...
Lucas had already jumped in the driver's seat and was ready to roll!
Safety first!
After our car exploration, we went searching for a bug catcher.
Just to let you know, if you ask someone for a bug catcher, they have no idea what you are talking about.
Infact, they look at you like you are crazy.
We went into every store you can imagine and FINALLY found one in Richard's favorite store.
And in case you are one of those people who looked at us bug-eyed when we asked what a bug catcher is...here is a photo JUST FOR YOU.
To top it all off, we ate dinner at a BUFFET and
Lucas had a B-L-A-S-T!
He wanted some of everything, ate amazingly well and we even let him try gummy bears for the first time.
Are we great parents or what?

- Neat kaleidoscope! That's really fun :) I hope our Lowe's does this, too, as I hope we can participate in these neat projects next year when both boys are a little bigger :)

- We spent our Saturday at home while Stan raced, and then went to the dog park (again :) ) in the afternoon. Sebastien had lots of fun hiking and playing with Rusty. We had lots of fun, too. xoxo
