Lucas' Room Art

Many months ago, the light green shown below was a scoreboard for some baseball team, which escapes me now. It was one of the first things I painted once Rich left for the deployment. For the past many months, his room has looked like this....

But when Richard came home, we discusses jazzing up Lucas' room a bit more. So Richard drew a giant dinosaur above Lucas' bed and we primed the green around him, to leave us with a green dinosaur.

Then we painted around him....we brought the green up higher, got rid of the white strip on the wall, and changed the color around the dino to match the blue in the rest of the room. You can't tell here, but we also outlined the dinosaur in a lighter green paint. Lucas posed with his dinosaur.

And painted "RAWR" to add to the wall (although Richard thinks longnecks don't say Rawr!)
