Here are a few highlights of the past days....
Meredith has begun RUNNING away from me after I take off her diaper. The other day, she ran, paused and peed...standing up in the middle of the floor. I decided to leave her be --- better to make a puddle than a long stream.
To grab a towel, I turned my back from the tub a few nights ago after plopping Lucas inside. When I turn around, there was a happy Mere beaming back at me. I tell her to sit down, and take my position beside the edge. Then I see a little poopy floating around! I know it was Mere because I had JUST changed Lucas and it wasn't the same....at all.
Lucas has become obsessed with flushing the toilet. Then he will yell "Bye Bye PooPoo" no matter what was put inside. He does this in public restrooms, too.
I am working with Lucas to sit on the potty for longer than two seconds....and waiting for warm weather to encourage the transition out of diapers...I often wonder if I really have the patience to dedicate to it.

Ugh, poop in the bath tub...Kai did that to me a couple of nights ago. I also couldn't help but laugh at what Lucas says to the flushing toilet. I think that if I heard that in a public restroom I would start laughing out loud.
I HATE cleaning up poop in the bathtub! It is so gross. Porter says "Bye Bye Pee-Pee" to anything that goes down the toilet!
I remember when I was a little little kid and I pooped in the tub and blamed my brother who totally took up for me. It just came out last year at Christmas that it was in fact me. Don't judge me, I have very vivid memories and was only two or so. Anyhow, I find it HILARIOUS that Meredith peed standing up in the middle of the floor. I love that girl!
