Last night, I couldn't sleep. I was like the child in elementary school, filled with excitement at the possibility of schools closing due to snow!
We woke up this morning, and I was disappointed. Although beautiful, the accumulation was sparse. 
While Meredith napped, I managed to get Lucas outside with me while I dragged the trash to the end of the driveway.

As annoying as it was to drive in (cuz hospitals don't close when it snows), the trees were quite beautiful covered in it at 8am when I was driving home. I wished I had my camera but I just shot a couple pictures on my cell phone. :o/ p.s. it wasn't the first snow...it snowed last week or something, right?
Yes, it was the first snow. Last week, we saw sleet over a few days. It never snowed.

And look at Lucas in those pants tucked into the boots! I love it!
Luc looks so cheerful walking around in his boots and vest. I wonder if he still begs to go outside. Thanks for showing me what the house and yard look like.
