No posts?

I have had a few people comment on why I haven't been writing. Well, I don't feel like there is anything worth writing about. Most important things are already shared with someone....and I don't want to bore those readers that I talk to everyday (i.e. they already know the interesting/important information).

Besides, I make it a point to not write about my failures as a parent - which in turn, influences those who rarely speak to me to think they are ready to have children. ha! And I have had a few of those within the past few days, so you are really missing out.

So, in the few minutes I have, I will run down the list.
I have successfully taught Lucas to say Baghdad when asked where Daddy is. See, I wondered how it would fair if someone else asked. But he told his Grandmother today! I was so impressed.

Meredith gives kisses now...or blows them rather. She is super cute.

I haven't had a good meal since I cooked for Christmas. I am anxiously awaiting to see Rich, so that will change for a few weeks.

Hmm...I think that is all I have for now!

First, I want to see a video of Mere blowing kisses, when you get a chance.

Second, Your life and observations are always interesting. I check this post daily, sometimes more than once. I love you, and miss your cooking too.

Devon, you do not have failures as a parent. I've learned something that I know you already know, but sometimes we all need to be reminded of--we are often too hard on ourselves. I can relate to where you are coming from though because I often feel like I have failures raising Ryan too. I think knowing our mistakes and learning from them is a sign of a great parent...and I know you are a great parent.

Yay! Congrats on Lucas now saying Baghdad! How did his grandma respond?

And yippee, Meredith is blowing kisses... that must be adorable. Sebastien just learned how to kiss, and when I say "kiss kiss", he'll lean in and press his nose against my lips, and wait for several seconds. He's kissed the phone and the computer (when webcam-ing), too. Hilarious. Babies are fun.

And you ARE a great parent, and most definitely not a failure. You succeed with loving your little ones, and that is what matters most.

Thanks for sharing about your life on your blog :)
