Evening Beach Trip

After our first visit to the beach, we had to go back as soon as we could. 

We headed toward the coast after work one evening to check things out. 

We visited the area of the ocean, closer to the Chesapeake Bay- before you reach the resort section.

Meredith had an awesome time jumping waves with Daddy.

Lucas waited patiently for the perfect wave to take him away.

Lucas spent a HUGE amount of our time there digging up the holes made from air bubbles....

to find mole crabs!

and studying them...

and asking if we could take them home...

Mere was only worried about getting wet!

But I stayed perched on my warm towel (the water felt freezing!)

and my little buddy stayed close by!

The trip was sooo fun!  The kids loved it!
