Lucas fell and gashed his knee in our front yard.
He was running and tripped in a divet -- he literally flew threw the air and landed on the rocky surface of the front.
I don't have photos because I was too freaked out (and having to remain calm) about the gushing blood across his entire knee cap.
To take preventative measures for next time, Rich took a break from his studying and calculated how many bags of dirt I needed to fill in the hole.
So I was on a mission at Lowe's to find WAY TOO MANY bags of dirt.
Along the way, Lucas fell in love with an orange gerber daisy.
I was skeptical since the deer already attack everything.
But I was a softie and gave in since he did have a major injury the day before.
Once at home, we planted it...
So far it has survived!
Cross your fingers, because I am thinking of getting a few more.
