A Horse is a Horse

This afternoon, we were invited to a get-together at another student's (parents') house in Hoo-ville. They lived a bit outside of town with an incredible view of the landscape...Across the street from the house was a pasture of horses.

Lucas was facinated by all the horse minefields near the edge of the fence.

All was well....until a horse moseyed near our safe place.

Meredith was not a happy camper.

So we switched. Lucas was still very timid -- but so was Richard.

He became a bit more comfortable.

As did the horse. So much so, that Lucas saw another minefield appear.

That was our cue to move on the bigger and better things....like a huge inground pool overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.
